I chatted with my little sister today.
She is an OKUS member. I don’t think we knew each other when we were at Satit Kaset. But destiny drew us together when we were at Kasetsart University. She was a freshman when I was a senior. We lost contact years ago due to - busy life - I guess.
Anyway, she told me her story today. She lost her mom few months ago after a long time (sort of) Alzheimer’s disease. I can imagine from what I read from “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks. It must be hard for her and her family. Not just that…her dad, sister and brother all have been sick … one side of their brain just doesn’t work…all three of them…same symptom! She’s taking care of them.
I’m writing her story because it touched me so much. She still has her positive way of living. Even though I don’t see her when we chatted, but I’m sure she still has that big smile on her face, just like she always have. Thinking about what she’s been through, I think I can easily deal with mine. Hopefully, her story will help everyone who read this story as well.
To my sister – Hope you don’t mind I shared your story. When you feel tired, please remember, I will pray for you. Everything will be just fine. You have a good heart. Someone up there will take care of you, don’t you worry.
